[Second time participating in the event] Artism Market Tokyo exhibit report

This is a report article on our exhibition at Artism Market Tokyo , held on March 25, 2023. This article looks back on our impressions of exhibiting at the event, so if you are interested, please take a look.

1.What is Artism Market?

This is one of the events run by ARTiSM, and has the theme of "A place for creative people to express themselves!" It aims to discover and nurture artists, as well as provide opportunities for artists to connect with each other.

ARTiSM then launched the ARTiSM MARKET, the largest exhibition and sale in the history of the underground .

It is a place where you can experience the works of artists with various personalities, including accessories, illustrations, three-dimensional sculptures, and music that you can't find anywhere else.

It is a place where many works from all over Japan are gathered, mainly in three locations: Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya .

I have also posted an article about my previous participation in the Artism Market, so if you are interested, please take a look.

By the way, this event is currently in danger of being canceled, and the grand final (tentative) is scheduled to be held in Tokyo in October 2023. If you are planning to attend the event or are interested in it, please click the link below.

2. After this exhibition

Through this exhibition, I learned that there are quite a few people who like items with a human body motif. Some people happened to find it at the venue, while many people told me they saw it on Twitter and were interested in it. I felt that there are infinite possibilities with the human body motif. Thank you very much.

I'm still amazed that all the trading card cases and photo frames I made as a trial have been adopted. When I talked to the buyers, they told me things like, "I wanted a case like this, but it's hard to find one," or "I like bone-themed items, so I want to display them with my favorite character," and they were saying the same things I felt when I was an otaku ( much more than I am now). It gave me the energy to think, "If there are other people out there who feel the same way, I'll try to make something out of it!"

At the same time, I realized the importance of "I don't know who will like what, so I'll just try making it anyway ." Although I prioritize my own preferences with selected items and handmade items, sometimes I focus on what sells and my perspective narrows. So this event brought me back to my roots, which is to "believe in what I like and do my best!!!"

Also, through this event, I was able to meet my SNS followers and friends living in the Kanto region... As someone who has only participated in various events up until now, I feel amazing to be able to have people who know me and look at my space. It's like a dream come true, and my happiness index has risen in a way that I can't get in my normal life.

I'm still not used to events, so I can't increase the number of times, but I secretly hope to be able to participate in about three more events this year. (I'm not good at finding events, so I'm sorry if I can't participate, but I'm motivated so I'll do my best.)
