[Three months later] Looking back at the online shopping site Shinatomy
This is the third installment of the article I posted last month.
1. What I think now
"I want to try something new!"
Please forgive me if the content is so abstract that business leaders would be shocked to see it.
I've been running it on my own for the past three months, and I've come to understand the pace of work and the hours it takes to complete it.
Needless to say, I still have a long way to go, but I'm not feeling like I'm being chased or suffering any mental damage, so I really want to somehow make it my own business.
After all, your mind is truly important, so please take care of yourselves.
In response to this, we thought we'd try something a little different, so we conducted a survey on Instagram some time ago, and we received a lot of feedback from people who wanted to purchase in person , and people who wanted their items wrapped so that they could be given as gifts.
I've always wanted to go to both places, so I'll definitely consider it.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey🙇♀️
Another option would be to expand the price range of the products you carry.
At the moment, accessories cost around 1,000 to 2,000 yen.
T-shirts are priced from 5,000 to 6,000 yen.
I was really happy to see that people were thinking of Shinatomy as a gift, as some people mentioned the gift wrapping option, and I thought that if there was a wider range of prices, it would be easier to choose.
We will try our best to offer accessories priced between 3,000 and 5,000 yen, and apparel in the same price range or higher.
Another feature of my mail order site is that I have a lot of repeat customers.
It's still hard to believe, but we have people who pick up every new product as it comes out, people who buy both types of T-shirts, people who buy a combination of multiple accessories, etc.
I am very happy just to have you purchase it by itself, but I am also humbled that you have also used my online store. Thank you very much.
I will continue to run my online shopping site so that I can give back to those who love it, so I hope you will continue to support me.
2. Future plans
As I mentioned above,
・Introduce face-to-face sales and gift wrapping ・Expand price range
I would like to continue doing things like this.
In addition, we are planning to introduce a separate service as an option so that people with metal allergies can use it, so please wait a little while for that!
3. About myself
I was quite active (in my opinion) with the motto I mentioned last month of "seeing a variety of things."
*Needless to say, I underwent various inspections before traveling outside the prefecture.
Sanatorium in Fukuoka,
A special collaboration between Tokyo's Bar Jukai and Makurakurama.
There are also antique shops in Ehime.
It was really fun to discover new worlds at the places I visited.
I live my life every day as an otaku who loves things with the human body motif, but because I'm still a novice, I often get told about new shops by shop owners and customers, such as "This shop is great."
When I visit a new shop, I discover a new place... it's an endless loop, so my list of shops I want to visit now easily exceeds 50 stores 🦴
Sometimes I wish there was a door that could go anywhere, but I also like experiencing things like the local train swaying along the way, the dialect spoken by students, and discovering bakeries tucked away in back alleys that I get lost in on my way to my destination, so I personally prefer to travel on foot.
Also, when I go to a new place, I'm usually alone, so it's probably a good thing that it gives me time to really get in touch with myself.
I want to go to England this year - no, I'm definitely going to go!!! I'm still living a relaxed life, but I'd like to spend the next month giving myself a little praise for being able to focus on the fact that I'm alive.
4. Conclusion
Thank you for reading this far.
It's only the third month, so there are still some rough edges, but
As Shinatomy, we would like to continue our activities through trial and error.
Also, if you have any questions or requests regarding Shinatomy, we would appreciate it if you could let us know on Instagram or Twitter.
We hope you will continue to support Shinatomy.
