[18th event participation] After Sendai Comiket 245
This is a report on our exhibit at Sendai Comiket 275 , which was held on March 24, 2024 .
This article looks back on my impressions of exhibiting at the event, so if you're interested, please take a look.
1. Impressions of the event
Exhibiting in Tohoku for the second time was also fun...!
The last time we exhibited was in September 2023, so this was our first exhibition in about six months.
During my first exhibition, I never imagined I would be exhibiting for the second time just six months later, so it feels strange.
By the way, we received a lot of questions about this exhibit, such as "Why Oita...?", so we will answer them again here 🫀
There are two main reasons.
One reason is that I love traveling .
Personally, I feel that it is easier to continue exhibiting at events in my hometown or neighboring prefectures, both physically and financially. On the other hand, the owner, who has loved traveling since his student days, thought , "Wouldn't it be more fun if I could combine exhibiting at events and traveling?" and has been exhibiting outside the prefecture.
However, I've been doing whirlwind trips lately because my schedule isn't so flexible, but it's still fun to try the local sweets and food.
The second reason is to "Meet existing customers and seek new encounters!"
In fact, a relatively large number of customers who use our online store are from the Tohoku region. There are probably a few reasons for this, but a certain number of people tell us that "there are no stores with this kind of atmosphere nearby..." and we believe that one of the reasons is that "there are no stores nearby, so I have no choice but to buy online."
The owner started the shop because he thought , "I can't get what I want, so I'll try to do it myself!" So he decided to hold a memorial exhibition because he wanted to meet those people in person while he is still able to move around.
When I actually went there, in addition to meeting existing customers, I was also able to meet many new people. The excitement of meeting people in person who had only seen me on screen until now is something that can be enjoyed no matter how many times you do it.
Although the things we like and the reasons we like them are different for each person, I would be very happy if some of you have discovered something you like through Shinatomy.
Since we are still a small shop, I don't know when this will happen, but I would like to create an opportunity for people who like Shinatomy to interact with each other.
Although the human body motif is a niche genre, we will continue to do our best to help people who love these things to live a slightly more wonderful life.
2. Regarding future event participation
