[6th event participation] Oderai Kochi exhibition report
This is a report on our exhibition at Oderai Kochi, which was held on August 27, 2023 .
This article looks back on my impressions of exhibiting at the event, so if you're interested, please take a look.
1. Impressions of the event
It was a surprising development that out of all the events we have exhibited so far, Shinatomy's items were the most popular to be picked up . Both the store owner and the salesgirls were surprised by this.
This is because many people have told us that our venue's dark atmosphere is more suited to events held in Tokyo, Osaka, etc., rather than local events.
However, by participating in events not only in big cities but also in rural areas, Oderai Kochi is gradually becoming known to more and more people.
Some people came because they saw us on Twitter, some just happened to be passing by and bought multiple items because they were "really into the atmosphere," and some just told us they saw us at a different event.
We are still not used to exhibiting at events, so we are sorry for causing you inconvenience. In particular, the owner of the store is not good at interpersonal communication, so we leave the majority of sales to the salesgirls.
But thanks to everyone, I feel like I want to continue participating in events not only in urban areas but also in rural areas! Thank you so much!
2. Purchase Introduction
This time, I had plenty of time, so I was able to look around the venue at my own pace.
Here are some of the items we received at the time:
☑︎Acrylic keychain
This acrylic keychain is a work by Gyokai❤️🩹
The combination of the girl in the nurse's uniform and the parts that decorate her surroundings is amazing.
I also like that the colors are not primary but have a dark atmosphere.
If you are interested in Gyokai's work, please check it out below.
☑︎Brooch
This brooch is a creation by Hoppe.
Eye brooch...As someone who loves human body motifs, I definitely wanted to get my hands on this, so I'm really glad I was able to get hold of it.
I usually wear a lot of black and white, but I also love the combination of black and red.
Hoppe has also produced several works, so if you are interested, please take a look at them.
3. Future plans
As we announced the other day, we will be exhibiting at an event in Miyagi Prefecture in September...!
We were originally planning to participate in another event, but had to give up due to the store owner's schedule.
Therefore, I would like to put my all into exhibiting in Tohoku for the first time.
The event dates from September onwards are as follows:
October 14: Artism Tokyo
December 2nd: Artism Osaka
I hope to be able to exhibit at one or two more events other than the ones mentioned above! I look forward to seeing you there!
4. Conclusion
Thank you for reading this far.
This time I'd like to write about Oderai Kochi, which I recently participated in.
Time flies and 2023 is coming to an end, but we will still be exhibiting at events ❤️🔥
We look forward to meeting you all all over Japan.
That's all for this time.
