[4th event participation] Setouchi Handmade Marche exhibit report

1. Impressions of the event

Through this event , I felt even more determined to visit more prefectures .

The main reason is the voice that I mentioned on Instagram, "You hardly see items like this in Ehime..." The owner himself is from a mountainous area in Kyushu, so there were no items he liked in his hometown and he would buy them when he went out of the prefecture or by mail order.

Therefore, I can very well understand the frustration of not being able to purchase them within your own range, and the difficulty of adopting one unless you go to an event outside the prefecture.

If that's the case, I think it would be good to expand my range of activities. Traveling has always been a hobby of mine, so I'm thinking about actively traveling . I'm not sure how far I can go, but my immediate goal is to visit all the prefectures in Japan with Shinatomy! I would like to get to know and feel various places through participating in events, and update my knowledge and values ​​through new encounters.

By the way, the atmosphere of this event was a little different from the events I've exhibited at in the past, and to be honest, I was nervous about what to expect. However, there were more people who were interested than I expected, and some of them asked me , "Why did you decide to open a store like this?" ... I was able to talk to the customers at a more leisurely pace than usual.

Above all, I was really happy to find that there were people in Ehime Prefecture who shared the same tastes as me, even though they were few in number. (Some of them happened to be visiting their hometowns and found our store...! What a strange connection.)

2. Upcoming Schedule

So, here is an overview of our future plans🗓️

・End of July: Chugoku region ・End of August: Shikoku region ・October: Artism Tokyo

We were originally scheduled to exhibit at the July-August event, so we will let you know again once it is confirmed.
In September we plan to go beyond Tokyo and further afield than usual !! Stay tuned for updates!!!

We are still a small shop, but because we are small we can be very active, so please feel free to send us a message saying "Please come to my prefecture!" We will make arrangements to have us exhibit at events.

Some of the items sold at this event will also be available on the online store from July 1st . Since we will also be exhibiting at events during July, the sales period may be short, but if you are interested, don't miss it.
