[Six months later] Looking back at the online shopping site Shinatomy

This article looks back on the first six months of Shinatomy .

(I'm starting to worry now whether I'm counting the months the right way. If we continue like this, it will be the 13th month by the time we reach our first anniversary next year, which is a mysterious feature...but we'll count at the end of the month, so it won't make much difference! Please look at it with a kind eye!)

1. What I think now

Halloween is over sooner than I thought...

It's been Halloween since September!! Yay!!! I was thinking about it but before I knew it, it was over. It went by so quickly that I think Halloween is just starting, seriously.

In addition to the fact that I love Halloween, it might also be because I will be exhibiting at an event in Osaka at the end of November . So for me, it's Halloween until November!!! Yay!!!

As for my goals for next year, I'm thinking of saving up for Halloween and just hitting the ground running at full speed starting in September.

It really went by so quickly...it's scary how time passes.

And, at the beginning of this month, we had a limited time consignment sale at Takeda Cafe, and the sale has now ended successfully !

2. Future plans

Our next destination is the Artism Market in Osaka .
The layout of the venue hasn't been released yet, so the location hasn't been decided yet, but I'm really nervous. I've been nervous for a while now. My biggest worry is that I'll melt away from the nervousness by the time the event actually happens.

Since it is face-to-face sales, there are many differences from consignment sales.
It's difficult because there are more things to prepare and various change to take care of.
I don't think I'll know what will happen until the day is over, but I'll try to come up with some countermeasures and give it my best shot.

I'm also thinking about going on a journey to find creators who will entrust their products to Shinatomy . It would be fun to be able to see the works of various creators (especially those related to the human body) on the Shinatomy online store, in addition to the items I have selected myself from Japan and abroad.

It may be just a dream, but I would like to gradually increase the things I can do.
To do this, you will need to prepare proper documentation, so don't forget that.

3. About me

This month I was all about Halloween .
As if possessed by Halloween, I bought candy, went to stores, and wrote about it on my blog.

I always wondered if real (although that might be a bit of a different word) bloggers lived their days like this, and it seemed like it had nothing to do with me.

But I also realized that I really like expressing what I eat, what I learn, and what I feel in writing. I'm not good at expressing my emotions with my mouth, I'm not good at drawing, and I don't have any outstanding skills. But I realized once again that I can continue even if I'm only good at writing. It's not that I'm good at it, but maybe I just really like it.

I think that everyone has their own reason for writing, but in my case, I think it may have been writing an essay for university entrance exams. At that time, I was stressed even to hold a mechanical pencil and look at the manuscript paper. Of course, studying for exams was not fun at all... but if I start talking, the conversation will get dark, so I'll stop here.

Thanks to the training I received back then, my resistance to writing has decreased, and I'm glad that blogging has become a hobby for me. Including the fact that it's the easiest way for me to express my feelings at the moment. Since then, I've always wanted to improve my writing skills, so I'd like to continue to improve by writing more.

This month, I especially felt how blessed I am to have such great people around me. When I was in Tokyo, I talked with my friends about my work, took them to Halloween-related places, and received Halloween-related sweets. Regarding my business, I received a lot of feedback from them about what items they wanted at Shinatomy, and they wanted me to make them in different sizes. It's such a happy thing to have people remember what I like and give them to me, and to have them take an interest in my business.

By the way, the most stressful thing this month was when I forgot to transfer money to my business account, and the bank notified me that the money had not been withdrawn from my account. What a loser... I'm so frustrated... I've just decided not to do it again. Everyone, please be careful. It's very stressful.

4. Conclusion

Thank you for reading this far.
We are currently preparing for the Artism Market in Osaka in November.

I don't know how my business will progress from now on, but I will live at a pace that doesn't overwhelm me. Also, if you have any questions or requests about Shinatomy, I would appreciate it if you could let me know on Instagram or Twitter.

We will continue to bring you Halloween-themed content in November, so please continue to support Shinatomy.
