After the Shinatomy solo pop-up

1. Impressions of the event

I was so happy that so many people came to visit!

Our first pop-up was in May 2024, and two months later we rented a different location for another pop-up.

We were so grateful to have so many people stop by during our first pop-up, that we were able to hold a second one.

This time, the pop-up was held at Funai Salon in Funai Town, Oita City, Oita Prefecture.

Unlike regular event exhibits, this wasn't just people who happened to pass by and stop by, but rather people who already knew about the pop-up, so I was worried right up until the day of the event about how many people would actually come.

Once the pop-up began, some people arrived right after we opened, and we were fortunate to have customers in the venue from opening until the end.

In addition, I was happy to be able to talk to customers at length during my extended stay, which is difficult to do at regular events. I asked them what kind of motif would be good for a new product, what kind of items they wanted, and other things they like and want to ask.

The owner himself is not very good at face-to-face communication, but it was still an opportunity to really feel the benefits of face-to-face communication.

The event was held on a very hot day, so the fact that people still came to the store despite the hot weather gave the owner a boost of confidence. Thank you so much 🙇‍♀️ (I was also very grateful for the gifts...!)

There are no plans yet for future pop-ups, but personally I would be happy to do one again around autumn.

There are still many things I want to achieve through Shinatomy, so I will do my best to move forward little by little and steadily. Thank you for your continued support.

After that, we plan to exhibit at Tokyo Comitia on August 18th 👁️‍🗨️

The number of exhibitors at events is expected to increase from September onwards, so please look forward to it!
